Favorite lyrics:

"Oh, ashes fall from burning dreams /
Oh, never lived through times like these."

    This song was shown to me recently, and I've taken a liking to it.  There are tragedies experienced, or seasons walked through that genuinely have one in shock not only of the content of the hardship, but of the scope of it. How entirely it encapsulates life to the point where one truly realizes that they have "never lived through times like these." That the suffering this time is different. 

    In writing, I believe this is called "the point of no return". When whatever big thing has happened in your story catapults your character into new and often scary waters. When everything changes.

    I hope you enjoy making up powerful scenes and character journeys to this one!
